Teacher training
Our background is in English language training for teachers and the income generated from teacher training is now crucial for supporting our working children programme.
We have developed a strong track record in delivering quality English language training for teachers, teacher trainers, volunteers and other professionals.
Since 1999 we have trained over 4,000 teachers, after developing and running our first ‘communicative English teaching’ training programmes for teachers of English in and around Sylhet. Over twenty years later, we have broadened our offer to include a wide range of accredited and non-accredited training workshops and courses for teachers of English and other subjects both delivered online, face-to-face or blended.
Our teacher training is integral to our working children programmes in two ways. Firstly, it generates an income for the charity that we can use to fund our working children programmes and secondly it enables us to have access to teachers in Bangladesh who can help give an education to child labourers.
